CAROSAI was invited to participate in a workshop for experienced SAI PMF Assessors in Panama City, November 16-18, 2016. The workshop was intended to allow for the sharing of SAI PMF experiences from conducting SAI PMF assessments; and training on writing the SAI PMF performance report, including identifying root cause of SAI performance and draw linkages between SAI performance in different areas.
The IDB facilitated the participation of IDB member countries within CAROSAI. There were six (6) participants from the region, namely:

- Siran Mitchell Bent, Jamaica
- Minouschka Fernand, Suriname
- Sue Winspear, Cayman Islands
- Paul Simpson, Belize
- Maria Rodriquez, Belize
CAROSAI wishes to thank the IDB for their continuous support both financial and otherwise, which provided us with the opportunity to participate in the SAI PMF Capacity Building workshop. To our hosts Panama, we would like to also thank them for the great hospitality shown to us during our stay in their country and for the use of their office facilities at the Comptroller General of the Republic of Panama.
