The objective of IDI’s bilateral support is to ensure that the most challenged SAIs with substantial needs for capacity development are assisted and are improving their performance. Target SAIs are characterized by limited internal capacity and lack of support. SAIs with substantial needs for support are commonly in fragile states, but also in other challenged countries.
